STAMP promised every inbox in one window. Until this week, "every" meant Gmail. Version 0.6.0 makes it honest: Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 now connect over Microsoft Graph, and they stream into the same unified window, the same triage, the same search.
One door in
Adding an account used to assume Google. Now there is a single add-account flow with a provider picker up front: Gmail, Outlook.com, Microsoft 365. Pick yours, sign in, done. The groundwork for iCloud, Fastmail and raw IMAP is already in the codebase behind the same seam.
Identities, so From is never a surprise
If you send as three addresses across two accounts, the composer should know all of them. Identities now live in Settings, and the From picker in the composer lists every address you can legitimately send from. No more replying to a client from the wrong alias.
Threads that stop pretending to be two
Email providers disagree about threading constantly. When message headers show that two threads were always one conversation, STAMP now merges them, and keeps following the merged thread instead of losing your place. One conversation, one thread, whatever the servers claim.
Faster under the hood, safer by default
Two changes you will feel without seeing:
- A triage scheduler replaced the old recompute fan-out. Each thread is scored exactly once per change, so a burst of incoming mail no longer costs a burst of CPU.
- Crash reporting and a feedback dialog shipped, both scrubbed by default. A crash report tells us the app broke. It never tells us what your mail says.
